Leandro es Profesor en Lengua y Literaturas Inglesas (UNLP) y Magíster en Educación Bilingüe (Universidad de Birmingham, Reino Unido). Luego de dirigir el instituto NEL Inglés durante 25 años, fundó Colegio York, junto con su hermano Hernán, con el ánimo de ofrecer una educación verdaderamente bilingüe en la ciudad de La Plata. Leandro es un apasionado de la formación docente, rol que desempeña en el Instituto Terrero, en las cátedras “Prácticas Discursivas de la Comunicación Escrita y Oral IV” del último año del Profesorado en inglés, y en la Universidad de Belgrano, donde dicta “Análisis del Discurso” en la Maestría en Lengua Inglesa y en la Maestría en Traducción. Leandro ha dictado talleres para profesores a lo largo de la Argentina y Uruguay, y ha publicado artículos y libros de actividades para el aula de inglés. Se desempeña como subeditor en el EAL Journal de Inglaterra, revista de educación y lenguas publicada por NALDIC, organización de la cual Leandro forma parte del directorio. Es asimismo miembro del comité directivo del Special Interest Group "Young Learners and Teenagers" de IATEFL, también del Reino Unido, en el cual se desempeña como co-editor de publicaciones. Leandro is a teacher of English Language and Literature from the University of La Plata, and holds a Master’s Degree in Bilingual Education from the University of Birmingham, UK. Having been in charge of the language academy NEL Inglés for over 25 years, he co-founded Colegio York with the aim of providing a truly bilingual brand of education in the city of La Plata. He carries out his passion as a teacher educator as a chair of “Written and Oral Discourse Practices IV” in the last year of the Initial Teacher Education degree at Instituto Terrero in La Plata, and of “Discourse Analysis” at Universidad de Belgrano, in the Master’s in English Language and in the Master's in Translation. Leandro has delivered workshops for English teachers throughout Argentina and Uruguay, and has published articles and workbooks for the teaching of English as an additional language. He is deputy editor of the EAL Journal (UK), published by NALDIC, a British organization dealing with language and education, of which Leandro is a member in the executive committee.He is also a committee member of IATEFL's Special Interest Group "Young Learners and Teenagers" in the UK, where he is Joint Publications Officer.
